Cochin Shipyard Ltd. announces 312 Posts for appointment on contract basis as Crane Operators(EOT) / General Fabricator /  Outfitter / Fabrication / Outfit Assistants and Crane Operators(EOT Crane). All eligible candidates may apply online from 02 /07 / 2014 to 12 / 07 / 2014.

Eligibility Criteria  

Age Limit   = The maximum age of the candidates is 35 years as on 01 / 06 / 2014.Relaxation of age for SC/ ST  = 5 years,   For OBC = 3years , For PWD = 10 years.

Education Qualification and Experience = Post name - Fabrication / Outfit Assistant = 
Candidates must posses pass in SSLC ITI ( NTC ) and National Apprenticeship certificate ( NAC) in the respective trade.
Post Name = General Fabricator / Outfitter =   Candidates must posses pass in SSLC ITI ( NTC ) and  certificate in the respective trade.
With minimum of three years post qualification experience in a shipping or Engineering company .
Post name crane Operator = Candidates must posses pass in SSLC ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship certificate (NAC) in the trade of Electrician  / Electronic Mechanic.
Post Name = General Crane Operator = Candidates must posses pass in SSLC ITI (NTC) and certificate in the trade of Electrician  / Electronic Mechanic.
With minimum of three years post qualification experience in Operating EOT Cranes in a shipyard or Engineering company .

Selection Process: - Selection of candidates will be based on the written test and practical test . Shortlisted candidates need to appear for the interview. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will be permitted to attend the practical test.
